Terms of Service

1. The service

Starloop helps businesses collect customer feedback, generates draft review text with AI based on what the customer tells us, and lets the customer choose whether to publish it on Google. Low ratings are routed to private feedback for the business instead.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register. You are responsible for the accuracy of your business details, for your login credentials and for the activity of your staff accounts.

3. Fair and lawful use of reviews

• Reviews must reflect a genuine customer experience. Fake reviews are prohibited.
• You may not incentivise, pay for, filter or condition reviews on a rating, nor generate reviews for customers who did not visit you.
• Every draft is editable and is published by the customer from their own Google account. You must comply with Google's review policies at all times.
• No unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene or infringing content; no scraping, reverse-engineering, resale or abuse of our systems or rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, without refund for the current period.

4. Plans, billing and taxes

Every business chooses a paid plan at the plan price plus applicable GST, paid through Razorpay for the period selected. Pricing, cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies to renewals after that notice.

5. Customer data and your responsibilities

You are the owner of the feedback and review data collected through your Starloop links. Where you collect a customer's name or contact details, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for handling that data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We act as your data processor for that content, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI output

AI-generated text can be inaccurate. It is a draft suggestion only, must be reviewed before use, and we make no warranty about ranking, review volume, rating improvement or business outcomes.

7. Availability, liability and indemnity

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or lost goodwill. You indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using Starloop and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end access for non-payment, abuse or legal reasons. On termination, you may request an export of your feedback data within 30 days.

9. Governing law
